TEETH AND THIER ROOTS

what are dental implants?

A missing tooth can be replaced with a dental implant so that it looks, feels, fits, and functions like a natural tooth. Dental implants are strong and stable, and provide not only a solution for the missing top part of the tooth but the root as well, which increases the overall function of the implant.

omit-Other options such as dentures or bridges can lead to bone deterioration, and may interfere with eating, smiling, speaking and other activities of everyday life.

  • Dental implants allow you to enjoy life without worrying about your teeth!  There is no need for you to stay home or feel uncomfortable in public, embarrassed because your smile looks different, or worry that missing teeth will limit your ability to join in the fun. And you certainly don’t need to worry like you do with removable dentures or tooth-supported replacement teeth could loosen or fall out when you talk, eat or laugh. Teeth restored with dental implants are teeth that let you, not your teeth, lead your life. Skilled dental implant experts can offer many wonderful success stories!

what to expect

a dental implant is a single appointment treatment

teeth cleaning

The tooth needs to be cleaned and clear of cavities before sealants can be placed. A regular dental cleaning is required to ensure your sealants are successful.

implant placement

In the same appointment, your dental hygienist will isolate the teeth using a dry aide preventing saliva from touching the surface of the teeth. A BPA-free primer, clear in color, will be placed on the surface of the teeth. Next the clear sealant material is placed on the primed teeth. A UV free light is used to set and dry them. After all the sealants have been placed and dried, your Dentist will check your bite to ensure it is even and without discomfort.
